Cinco de Mayo will never be the same in Kansas City.
The Guinness Book of World Records has officially
sanctioned the Chihuahua Parade and Festival to
attempt to break the record of the most dogs in costume.

The core of our operation is centered around our adoption and obedience services. It is the center for all of our outreach and community education programs. Follow-up phone calls after adoptions, homeless pet intakes, networking and educational programs are just a few of our ongoing services.
We are currently raising funds in hopes of expanding the following programs:
- Events and benefits
- Medical cost of pets and speclal needs
- Support to other rescues and individuals
- Community Education
- Feral cat colonies
Sundays - Open Access Class Every Sunday night 5 - 6
no RSVP required.
No aggression, aggression must pre-register
$12 to non members, $5 to member, free to adopters
Wednesday – Wednesday night class
must be pre-registered. 6:30PM.

The Pet Connection, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in the Kansas City metro area. It's our intention to form a no-kill coalition
by educating the public, providing pet owner services and to find homes for unwanted and abandoned animals.

Moving to the Great Plains Mall
After spending 13 years in the Mission community, The Pet Connection will be moving to a smaller facility in Olathe in the very near future.
The capabilities of our group has changed and we want to focus in areas where we can have most impact. The smaller facility will allow us to expand our services to other groups exponentially and to be able to serve our community in current program gap areas.
We have licenses to get and leases to sign, so we will keep you posted. We will also be remodeling a small space so if you have paint or flooring or expertise to be offered, please let us know by contacting Melody at: melody@thepetconnection.net
