HELP NEEDED: LOST DOG in BELTON, MISSOURI!

xena1xena2xena3

Name: Xena
Age: Young Adult
Breed: Pointer Mix
Color: Black & White
Sex: Spayed Female
Microchipped
Very friendly. Good w/ cats & kids.
Note: She may have on a different collar than what is shown in the photos.

Xena went missing on 10/23/08 (8 days) from a gated community in Belton
Missouri. She was last seen on Sue Ellen Avenue. Xena is a dog that was adopted
from TPC within the last couple months. During a routine follow up call, the
adopters casually mentioned she had gotten loose. TPC asked that they post
flyers & an ad in the KC Star. We tried several more times to contact them but
did not hear back. Today we found out that they posted 1 flyer in their gated
community club house, but have decided that they don't want her & are not going
to look for her further.

PLEASE HELP US FIND XENA so we can get her back to our facility where she will
be safe & can look for a new forever home!!!!!

If spotted, please call us at 913-575-9826 (Melody) or 913-575-9401 (Jason) or
913-671-7387 (TPC Business Line).

HELP NEEDED: LOST DOG in MISSION, KANSAS!

$200 REWARD

TataLost: Sunday 3/23/08 @ 4pm.
Where: Mission, KS - Scared & will bolt
Phone in sightings to:

4/2/08: Update - May have been sighted between 67th & 75th street on Nieman yesterday. She was heading towards Quivira at that time. We do not know if this is her, but we are checking into it and would appreciate anyone in the area to keep an eye open for her.

In April of 2007, Tata (renamed Tia) came to us because her puppy mill had been shut down. All the dogs were covered in their own urine/feces and had horrible uterine infections from over breeding. She was quite shy, wouldn't just readily let us touch her. After several months of work, she went into a special foster care home and 3 weeks ago went to her permanent home. We have worked so hard to rehabilitate and re-socialize her and she has turned into such a sweetie. Last Sunday, she jumped the fence of her new home and no one has seen her since.

We have been out looking for her every day and no one has even spotted her. Either one of two things has occurred: either she has found a safe place to hide or she's traveled outside the area that she was lost in. I need help this weekend putting out a thousand flyers and walking the streets to inform individuals who live in the areas so that she can be returned to us.

This is so devastating and with a little extra man power we might be able to turn it around. If you can just give 1 hour of your time today to help bring her home.

The adoptive family lives in Mission, we have the flyers at our TPC location listed below, and the foster family lives in Prairie Village.

Tia is a large Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Mix. She is female, spayed, and has a small mass on her nose. She is brown and white, about 25-30 pounds. She has a collar on with her microchip information. She likes other dogs, but is especially shy of men. She may run, but reported sightings would be much appreciated so we can narrow down where her area is. She is not aggressive. She just must be really scared.
