- Animal Caretaker -
Deborah first encountered The Pet Connection in 2006 when she was looking to add another canine companion to her household. She was eventually matched with Dixie, a sweet little rat terrier (thank you Jason!). She had been involved in animal rescue for several years in the 1980′s and knew it was time to re-commit to the animals in need in her community. She and her sons began to volunteer their time and before long, they were fostering dogs, something they still find enormously satisfying. Deborah works full-time as a legal assistant to a local criminal defense attorney.
