Jason is one of the original founders of The Pet Connection, Inc. He became involved because of Melody Kelso. Jason graduated from high school in 1994 and went on to earn a degree in sociology from KU in 1999. He started fostering for TPC in 2000. He started studying animal behavior in 2002. He became a full-time employee for TPC Rescue Development in 2003. He became a board member in 2005 and started teaching behavior consultant classes for TPC in 2006. In 2006, he became Director of Operations in charge of starting new programs and overseeing the dog adoption program.
