Libby may be a shy girl, but once you earn her trust she'll reward you with the best purrs in town.
Wallflowers unite! Unite quietly. Without drawing attention. Okay, sometimes it's hard for the introverted kitties to get noticed. But darn it, they deserve wonderful homes, too. Libby, for example, with her stunning green eyes, is a shy girl who will blossom in a home willing to give her some time to come around. We are so proud of how she's learned to love humans and even appreciate playing with toys, something completely new to her. She was rescued after living outside for many months but loves the indoor luxury of a fluffy, fuzzy blanket. Libby loves to snuggle with her blanket, make all the biscuits, and she is a perfect lap companion! Once you earn her trust she is SO sweet and will gladly take all of the pets you'll give. She gives the best purrs in return. Libby is guessed to be about five years old and would do best in a quieter home with no small children. She enjoys time watching out the windows from her tower.
As we know that Libby is fearful at first, we can advise her new family on the best ways to help her transition, minimize her stress, and promote bonding with her new person/people.
If you are interested in meeting Libby, please call or text 913-671-7387 or fill out an application at https://therescueproject.net/adoptionapplication. Libby’s adoption fee is $75 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter/spay, microchip, deworm, and testing for feline leukemia. She's in the KC metro, but transport is available to the right home.
