Pellonia has warded off sickness and starvation for her tiny kittens; now she needs a home of her own.
Pellonia, named after the Roman goddess who was believed to assist mortals in warding off their enemies, did just that with her five precious kittens. They were dumped, starving and so, so sick, at The Pet Connection when Pellonia was just a kitten herself. She was rail thin from trying to keep her newborn babies from succumbing to starvation and illness.
She is a small, shy, sweet girl who has taken excellent care of her brood, but she'll soon be ready for a home of her own. We want that home to most excellent, too. She'll do best in a quiet home, without a lot of ruckus, so she can feel safe. We would also love if she went home with one of her kittens; they give her confidence.
Pellonia takes a while to warm up to people, but once she does, you will be rewarded with the honor of giving her pets, and also rubs behind her ears.
Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information. Pellonia is in Beloit, Kansas, but transport is available to the right home.
