Meet Tempy—short for Temporary, though it’s been anything but! This beautiful 8-year-old tortie has spent years being the constant companion of her loving mama, who rescued Tempy and her two ginger kittens with plans to find them all forever homes. But Tempy decided she was home—and her mama was happy to oblige.

Now life has taken a hard turn. After a series of serious falls that left her with a broken hip and wrist, Tempy’s mama can no longer care for her beloved girl. So Tempy is looking once again for a forever home—this time, truly forever.

Tempy is the definition of sweetness. She adores attention, gives gentle hugs, and will happily curl up on your lap for a long cuddle. She gets along well with other cats and has lived peacefully with a calm, medium-sized dog. And while she’s a tortie, she doesn’t come with the typical “tortitude”—just love and loyalty in abundance.
