Auggie didn't have the best life before being rescued, but she's ready to be safe and warm with people who love her.
Meet Auggie, our beautiful Catahoula/Shepherd friend with City of Raytown Animal Services! Auggie was abandoned by her owners and then ran in fear for days in the middle of a highway; she was even struck by a car at one point. Thankfully, Auggie is safe now. And despite everything she's been through, she's a sweet and loving girl.
Auggie is around a year old and would love a home where she can fully relax, be leash walked, and build up her confidence. She has warmed up quickly to the staff caring for her with a slow introduction. A new forever home would allow her to get back to being the goofy young pup we know she is. She appears to like other dogs, too!
