Chili

Chili is excellent on leash, housebroken, and loves people of all ages.

This is Chili, our friend at City of Raytown Animal Services. She's a stunning bully mix, weighing in at about 40 pounds and only four years old.

Chili has so many amazing qualities, too. She loves people of all ages; sitting next to them to get all the pets and love she can absorb is one of her favorite activities. She walks like a dream on a leash, and she's calm with great manners. She likes other dogs! Oh, and Chili's housebroken and knows sit.

Fun fact about Chili: she can climb any chain-link fence. The second Chili enters a yard, you can see her doing the dog math on how to get over the fence. On the walls inside her kennel, we've found detailed drawings of the velocity required with 4 paws and a 20 mph wind gust from the northeast. She will require at least a six-foot privacy fence, but will also need to be monitored when outside, or she can be leash-walked instead (remember, she's fabulous on leash!). She loves leash walks, so there's another mark in Chili's bonus column.

If you would like to meet this fun dog, stop by 10312 E. 63rd St. in Raytown, MO, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or call/text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 (you may be able to visit during off-hours). She's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available.
