Pooh Bear

Meet Pooh Bear! She's our friend from City of Raytown Animal Services. Pooh Bear is a sweet and silly young lab/heeler mix around 7 months. She came to us nothing but skin and bones after being tied to a dumpster last week. Since then, the loving staff at Laurel Pet Resort have been working their magic on her, giving her plenty of love, soft blankets to rest on, and multiple small feedings a day to put weight back on. She does well with other dogs, but until she is confident, she will constantly receive food, and she will need to be fed away from other pets or children in the home. She needs to learn to be sure the food is for her and will continue to be given to her. She loves attention, walks nicely on a leash and loves cuddles.
